BiRthdAY BannEr!

Its Very easy to make a Home-Made Banner for any occasion. This was one that I threw together in a few hours for my daughters' birthday party.
Construction paper and ribbon.

Halloween Holiday Treats

We finally had a Halloween Party this year and here are some of the themed treats that were made.
Spider and Brain cupcakes (icing and Twizzlers)

Witches Rice Krispies Hat (Rice Krispy treats, Twizzlers)

Ghost and Goblin Feet Nutter Butter Cookies (Nutter Butter cookies, chocolate, sliced almonds)

Mini Graveyards (pudding, oreos, chocolate covered Chips Ahoy cookies)

The Party was a success and these were some fun additions!

Apple Pie Apples!

MMM don't these look GOOD?
APPLE PIE IN AN APPLE!

First you hollow out the inside of your apples. Then you use the inside (along with additional cut apples if you'd like) and create your apple pie mixture .. Adding your cinnamon (1 tsp.), sugar (1/4 cup), brown sugar (1 Tbsp) to taste.

Next you cut pie crust (either pre-made or home-made) into small strips. Layer them over the top of the apples in a basket weave pattern.

Bake in the oven at about 375 until crust is golden brown.

This was the way I made this the first time. but from experience (and if you like crust) I would also recommend layering some pie crust on the inside of the apple before you put in your filling.

ENJOY!

(I found this idea from Pinterest)

Family Photo Arrangement

My husband and I came up with the idea for this arrangement. He hand-made these frames from old cabinet doors. All the wood pieces were refinished.

Next I accessorized with Items from Joann's. The wooden letters, and ribbon.
The printouts (family and birthdays) were from Office Max and only cost 3 dollars.
The finished product came out better than we ever expected!

We are offering these arrangements for sale. They are completely customized.
